How can you arrange a Chiropody Home Visit?
Give us a call! Our reception can book you in for your first visit. All we need is your name and address.
On the day when we visit we will require details of your current medication. Please do not soak your feet before we attend to you as it is not necessary. Nor do you need to provide a stool or seating for us - just so long as you are in your favourite comfy chair we will work around you.
We do expect to work in a safe environment so please ensure any pets are out of the way and that we have enough space to comfortably move about it. We bring everything we need to carry out a clinical standard treatment assuming that the environment is suitable.
Your first appointment will involve a routine foot health check, which may involve listening to the pulses in your feet, assessing your sensitivity to pressure in the feet and make our assessment of your general foot health.
On our first visit we carry out a treatment and discuss with you a treatment plan to help you keep your feet in tip top condition, including how often you should see your podiatrist.
Who will come out to see you?
Amanda Grant (Lead Podiatrist) visit you. However, during busy periods and holidays you may see a different practitioner - but we endeavour to notify you of any changes.
Paying for your treatment
We accept cheques, cash and where data signals allow, card payments for treatment in the home. We can pre-arrange payments by BACS, supply invoice statements and receipts for health insurance companies.
Fees are £50 for your first visit.
Fees correct for 2020.
