Support for diabetic foot health

Whether you have just been diagnosed with Diabetes or have lived with the condition for sometime, your podiatrist is an essential part of your ongoing support.

Please call us today and book your appointment.

We undertake a foot health assessment and offer relevant treatment to maintain your foot health. All podiatrists are trained in the NHS and our treatment is standardised to complement that of our colleagues in the NHS.

Consult your Podiatrist - experts in diabetic foot health

What should you do if you have diabetes?

Firstly it is really important that you continue with your NHS / diabetic team appointments. These should take place at least twice a year, but everyone is different. Your GP should be able to advise you on how often you receive a foot health check by the NHS diabetic team.

Not everyone is entitled to free NHS foot care

With the pressures on our health service ever increasing, the NHS Podiatry teams are now focused on high risk diabetic patients. That is, those that are at risk of, or have developed, foot ulceration.

If that is not you, then you may not be offered foot care by the NHS, and you may need to seek support from a private podiatrist
